Go see a movie at the Tropic, and you will see what we mean. Easily, we found seats as the movie began and we were immediately immersed into the story. I just love, love, love the Tropic. This theater provides a excellent choice of some the best movies of the year, along with some real good classics. The four theaters are small and seating is very confortable. We always feel like we are going to run into someone famous when we go there. It looks like just the kind of place that movie stars would secretly visit so they can watch their own starring movies incognito. A great deco styled lounge in the foyer, offers a good variety of tasty treats, including wines, gourmet snacks and sweets. It is the best ever and they offer many different seasonings you might want to try on you popcorn. We try something new on our popcorn, each time we go there. If you get a chance, set aside one afternoon or evening to go to the Tropic to see a movie of your choice. The theater is conveniently located just a few steps around the corner from Duval Street, and right in the heart of the downtown shopping district. We often stop here during our shopping trips to Key West to have a break, watch a movie and enjoy the relaxed atmophere that the Tropic has to offer. Once you round the corner from Duval Street onto Eaton Street, you can't miss it, because Marilyn Monroe is standing right in front of the theater, waiting to greet you.
